Born in Otaru, Hokkaido, Kyousuke comes from a wealthy family that has always prided itself on its traditions. His father and grandfather were both practitioners of Reido Reiki, and Kyousuke was trained in it as well. Although he showed a natural affinity for its principles and techniques, he grew to resent the whole thing during his teenage years and decided to pursue a career in nursing instead, declaring that he wanted to make a "real difference." Hard work, connections and money earned him a place at Showa University, which he graduated from a few years ago. He's since been working at a leading hospital in Tokyo and has recently been employed to take care of a young man with bone cancer. He knows precisely nothing about the apocalypse. Kyousuke is shy and serious, careful with his words and affections, lived his life so far trying to be as inoffensive as possible to avoid conflict. Has a strong desire to protect people that might be seen as naive. Also has a bit of a temper. |
